YOGA HOUSE RULES

No shoes on the bamboo floor.

Do not push the lock icon on the front door or you will lock yourself out. If the door is locked and a class is scheduled, please  knock loudly or call us - the number is on the door.

Wear comfortable clothes that are not too baggy and do not bind
at the waist or knees when you sit down.

We appreciate it if you come to class clean - but please refrain from wearing a lot of perfume or cologne as some folks suffer from allergies.

Do not eat a large meal or drink a lot of liquid
before yoga – an empty stomach is most comfortable.

Please arrive a few minutes before class and if this is your first visit, please arrive 10 minutes ahead of class so we may check you in and acquaint you with the space. (early morning classes the teacher arrives no more than 10 minutes ahead of class time)

Some mats are available for you to use, as well as blocks,
straps and blankets.

Once you start your yoga practice you will be encouraged to purchase your own mat and if you like, mark your mat and store it at Yoga House between classes. We'll have some on hand you can purchase.

Water will be available but we ask that you do not bring water or beverages onto the yoga floor during class.

If you are pregnant please let the teacher know. If you have special physical issues let us know -  but please remember you are ultimately responsible for your own well being.
